- I'd go further than that. Really, unless your serial device driver is
- seriously hindering overall system performance (e.g. on a 68000-based
- machine), you're much better to stick with serial.device. I've never had
- problems with it, unlike with a whole load of third party versions which have
- appeared over the years. On a reasonably fast machine these reworkings make
- no noticable difference anyway.
